The Library has enough number of books and various journals to fulfill the requirement of students of all the courses.

Leading journals both national and Inter national, newspapers and current affair magazines etc. are subscribed regularly. We have a close watch on books and CDs that specifically focus on personality development and inter-personal communication as well as on the material, which is required by our students for preparing their resume and to develop their skills for facing interviews.

We strictly enforce peace and silence in the library so that the students can concentrate
on their studies.

Computer Lab
DIMT has an air conditioned H.P. Excellence computer lab with high resolution monitors, scanners and large number of printers. Systems have Windows NT, Windows 2000 and UNIX operating systems and served by high end server and 10 KVA online UPS. All the systems are equipped with licensed software like C, JAVA,VB.
ET, MS Office, C++.

The whole campus is WI-FI (Wireless Internet), it enables students to access the internet service at every corner of the institute. The Institute having 2 Mbps dedicated lease line for internet and is available to each student which enables them to
be global and seek the latest information within seconds over the desktop.

The Institute has 24 hours fresh running water supply. Clean drinking water is available all across the campus and the hostel. Water coolers are installed at convenient locations.

Transport Facility

The Institute provides transport facility to its day scholars as well as to the students living in off-campus hostels on nominal charges through it's self owned luxurious buses. Mess

Mess is the place where maximum students interact and establish friendly relation with one another. The mess of the Institute is spacious and equipped with comfortable dining furniture. It provides hygienic and nutritious food to the students. The students decide the menu according to which meals are prepared and served. Mess staff is conscious about the cleanliness and quality of food in a hygienic manner.


MEDICAL FACILITIES
One hospital in the vicinity has been empanelled for providing medical facility in case of any emergency. DIMT campus has one sick room for the sick students. A medical officer has been appointed by the college who visits the campus regularly for treatment of students.

 

Telephone Facility

We realize how difficulty it is for students living away from their parents, friends and all family members without frequent conversations with them. Moreover their parents and relatives would like to know about their daily affairs. In order to fulfill the requirement of their continuous and non-interrupted contact, the Institute provides the facility telephone in both the hostels.

The Institute has fully furnished separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. These are supported by an excellent mass, common room. Medical assistance, and to fro transport facility to railway station /bus station during official breaks.

To pursue higher education is not an easy task for young adults. In most cases, it becomes very tough to adjust in an entirely new setting away from the home and usually for the first time. To understand the sentiments of our student, the Institute provides them a home away from where students are always in close touch and guidance of the faculty members. The hostel life develops a sense of living and sharing with the feeling of belongingness towards the institution.

Our intention at college is to make learning comfortable and enjoyable as much as possible .So Hostel provides its resident an access of indoor and outdoor games facilities and recreational opportunities. The Institute has separate hostels for boys and girls, which are sufficiently away from each other. The residing students have comfortable airy rooms, 24 hours electricity and water supply (Hot water in winters) all in clean, peaceful and hygienic surroundings. The girl’s hostel is within the college boundary and hardly 20 yards away from their class rooms and labs etc.

 

SPORTSFACILITIES
Its not " all work and no play" at DIMT we very strongly believe in the old adage of "a healthy body has a healthy mind" Our college tries to expose the students to extracurricular activities, that include sports, music and participation in local/national level competitions etc.




 

SEMINAR AND WORKSHOPS
DIMT plans to organize workshops, Seminars, Conferences and Social programme on different burning problems of scientific nature. More often than not, these will be organized in tandem with organization of academic repute; the students can draw inspiration by interacting with the intellectuals in these seminars and workshops, guest Lectures from IIT'S and other Universities to be invited to give lectures on different aspects pertaining to their subject for the benefit of students. The college will organize cultural and literacyactivities. The students can participate in debates, seminars and discussions, organized by different faculties/societies from time to time.
We have the entire requisite infrastructure for outdoor and indoor sports/games and to make students active. DIMT shall organize matches etc. from time to time. The college shall celebrate Annual Day and other national holidays like Independence Day, Republic Day etc. where student’s attendance is mandatory
